I think the real loss to the deck is Top more than any other card specifically as there are adequate replacements for most of the other cards including Solitary. But replacing top is pretty dang hard.

WRONG!!!

Yes it matters : the card says " ... dealt damage this way", so it means it has to be destroyed by Demonfire. Not if it's dealt damage by another card in the same turn.
