inkmoth nexus instead of blinkmoth should be nice. Poison counter and cranial plating go very well together.

earthquake is a beating in this type of deck. I would try to stick in 3 copies of it.

Yeah you are right, it serves as a great hoser and a great finisher.

You'll need a set of o-rings in the board for firewalkers and leylines.

leyline isn't that much a problem since the creature are supposed to do the killing.

Firewalker may be more problematic b ...

Not only does blue provides mana leak, it also provides search/draw spells such as ponder and preordain.

those kind of spell get you the cards you need faster and still pump the fiend

Yeah but most of the decks are multicolored... Emerge Unscathed doesn't do much to evade blockers
