So you want a less powerful format, but Yawgmoth's Will and Demonic Tutor are legal? Doesn't seem correct.

Also, there is absolutely no reason to ban Survival of the Fittest in a format without Vengevine.

pg8: survival was banned on old extended years before any1 can imagine vengevine... i will find you correct date and post Smile
+ to the yaw. will: without anything that can make mana its dead card... only deck that rly used it in times of Urza's saga on type 2 with MM was BW combo deck that used yaw. bargain as well and was killing by 5x soul feast...

this format looks rly rly good, mby need a little more work and thinking but still, idea is perfect....

also, what about creating something like reversed modern? no cards with new look of cards... with well-made banlist... or just pick some of old extended formats, like the one after banning of dual lands and with good banlist... i remember that format, it was really healthy... even thou there was RDW, Boros aggro etc, there was a place for mono blue controls...
