So I have been following Travis Woo's EPIC deck on channelfireball..

however i have been playing my version a little different
his deck first focused on gaining a bunch of free turns and swinging with lots of creatures
his second version (funnily enough) used gavony township..

First I'll give you the list, and the reason i like the card..

4 epic experiment
4 increasing devotion
3 battle hymn
4 lingering souls
4 farseek
2 burn at the stake
2 past in flames
3 terminus
4 forbidden alchemy
3 increasing vengaence
2 goblin rally

4 steam vents
1 overgrown tomb
4 hallowed fountain
4 temple garden
3 blood crypt
2 forest
2 gavony township
1 mountain
1 island
1 plains
2 sulfur falls

first things first
lands are obviously going to change a lot over the next few weeks
also this may not be the most ideal amount..

as for spells

epic experiment
(namesake) the reason i like this version a lot, is the face that casting epic experiment for 5 (7 mana) is reasonable.
hitting token producers is key.

increasing devotion
this card is bonkers, travis has that correct. however with burn at the stake you dont need to attack to win

Lingering souls
as above, tokens and blockers are key

goblin rally
see above
not as good as the others, but having 5-7 creatures in play is key

burn at the stake
i like this card as a win condition. can be done super early (if your lucky)
also can be copied with increasing vengaence for only 4 creatures to be required for lethal off an epic experiment for 5

obvious ramp. auto inclusion.

battle hymn
yes i know this card sucks..
but so does lotus bloom, or that other ramp enchantment.
as we are going for a token producing epic experiment, this happens to be ok. hitting it from an EE is awesome as you can stack spells in the correct way so as to produce heaps of mana.

forbidden alchemy
im not sure that this card de4serves a slot here, but a lot of the time my opponents will play around counterspells after i cast this.
lemme know what you think about this one..

past in flames.
sh!t can get out of control if you have a battle hymn or something, also allows crazy stuff with increasing vengeance

lets be honest, card is awesome
only removal

so there we have it
i havent thought about a sideboard to much

but i assume 4 izzet charm will be there as burn and counterspells
maybe some burn and additional removal

flaming welcome

p.s as much as this deck is fun as all hell to play.
ive found it is rather competitive
