listening to mike flores is going to net you a LOT of losses. He's a good mind for magic, but only in certain circumstances.
I like the thought of leading with an evolving wilds or scalding tarn. This clearly isn't a format where turn 1 matters almost at all, but if you slowroll those plays out before dropping something...But wait... this is an aggro-jund list! Those properties don't mix and therefore don't make sense. You can't really make them think you're playing boros as the article suggests for long enough to make that trick worth it. Blightning costs 3 mana, apparently.
I like the red deck wins list, however. |

The last good deck Mike Flores made was that UBR Control deck with Tolaria West, Detritivore, and Aeon Chronicler. And that deck kinda made itself =\ Now he just makes sub-optimal decklists with too much expensive crap and Civic Wayfinders.
I really don't see why people still pay money to hear him rant about his deck creations. They haven't been good in a long time. |

God you guys are fucking idiots.
There's a reason you're sitting here bitching and Mike Flores is a respected long-time deckbuilder and theorist.
No relevant decks within the last 5-6 years?
Naya Lightsaber
Spells (11)
* 4 Lightning Bolt
* 4 Path to Exile
* 3 Ajani Vengeant
Creatures (25)
* 4 Noble Hierarch
* 1 Scute Mob
* 4 Wild Nacatl
* 4 Woolly Thoctar
* 4 Ranger of Eos
* 4 Bloodbraid Elf
* 4 Baneslayer Angel
Lands (24)
* 4 Arid Mesa
* 4 Forest
* 3 Mountain
* 1 Oran-Rief, the Vastwood
* 4 Plains
* 4 Rootbound Crag
* 4 Sunpetal Grove
Sideboard (15)
* 1 Ajani Vengeant
* 2 Burst Lightning
* 4 Celestial Purge
* 4 Goblin Ruinblaster
* 4 Great Sable Stag
This deck won the entire 2009 Worlds Standard portion.
If you guys disagree with Mike's comments, fine. But the guy has a history and a track record longer than any of you could ever dare to hope to think to ever dream. So shut the fuck up and start posting results if you're going to be snobs.
As for me, I'm going to learn what I can from a master.
Idiots. |

Yet somehow everything he says is still infinitely more important than anything you say.
What have you accomplished in magic?
Oh...that's right  |

You're right. Your biggest accomplishment is trolling forums and spamming the F5 key to board warrior instead of actually winning.
My bad. |
