That deck sucks. Domri Rade? Flinthoof Bear? No maindeck Thragtusk? Seriously?
The only reason that deck won is because his opponents were too confused to play correctly.

Seems like an ignorant statement poopascoopa

Couldn't agree more, CChildress

by poopascoopa on 2013-06-03 15:43 CET

It may seem like it, but it's not. I'm right.

thragtusk is too slow for that deck. curve is low and you are usually going to be on the offensive.

Thragtusk is too slow, and you shouldn't need it with this deck. I feel like kessig is better than gavony in this case.

Granted I haven't played the deck, by the looks of it I agree with Poopa.

It's not "blitz" blitz has 12+ 1-drops.
It's not exactly rock either... it's somewhere in between.

Which I'm personally not a fan of. If you can pay Thundermaw, you can pay Thragtusk. Probably can't afford slots for both, but anyway.

My main complaint is that if you get experiment turn 1, you have nearly nothing to pump it with turn 2. That looks weak, not to mention topping one late-game must be a pain.

If you turn 1 pilgrim, then you're aiming for midrange / rock. Which is more like what this deck tries to do - case in which the Domri feels extremely weird there (could argue about beefy dudes and lots of critters)

All in all, I'd rather play REAL naya blitz, or naya midrange. That's just me though.

first of all, there is a thragtusk in the sideboard. secondly, the people who post comments like "this deck sucks" are almost always wrong about everything.

And the deck is called Naya Domri, not Blitz...
