Top link is the news feed saying M13 is legal on ML.
Bottom link is to the sets legal in Standard.

Apparently there is alot of trouble understanding this in our playerbase so far today. Hope this helps everyone!

Magic-League Players should know that T2 rotates with Blocks, not with Coresets. Furthermore they should be able to read announcements...

GJ Kabelis, I knew you would go nuts for Dungrove+Rancor, its whoopass ;)

by Kabelis on 2012-07-04 07:52 CET

Skinshifter is not exciting (especially against delver), I just decided to try him out since deck lacks quality 2-drops and strangleroot is rather terrible in green mirrors which seem to be all over the place. Skinshifter at least trades with blade splicer which otherwise is friggin' unbeatable + it's good with swords. Strangleroot is still good vs control and as a wrath protection so I had a couple.

Numbers are random (1x ranger's path and 1x mutagenic growth tech etc.), I just really wanted to try MonoG with rancor once I noticed M13 is legal, so I modified my old list a bit and added some hate to naya pod which I previously couldn't beat in a million years.
I never played with rancor before, it's better than I expected.

Overall I got quite lucky, got some free wins due to screw/flood and barely beat Duodax, but so it goes.

@DonDiggy Thx Mate :P

Strangleroot + Rancor seems like a win...trample damage and recycle?

by Burton911 on 2012-07-04 14:49 CET

"1 Ranger's Path
3 Rancor"

admit it, you wanted to add the 4th Rancor but accidently added a rangers path :P

by mtgsoldier on 2012-07-04 17:58 CET

T1 mana dork
t2 geist and rancor on it, attack

Seems good

by Kabelis on 2012-07-04 18:38 CET

I lost to so many UW midrange and Naya Pod decks recently that I have a mortal fear of blade splicers. So my personal decision to trim some geists is probably biased, yes :P

by Yeahbuddie on 2012-07-05 01:03 CET

no Yeva, nature's herald in mono green? this is a real 4 drop for this deck. It's very strong

first t2 trial with m13, who won? again the best: Kabelis.
