expected some more Cavern of Souls!

by Hendrix_21 on 2012-04-25 03:58 CET

me too

by GBatista on 2012-04-25 08:04 CET

My list is LSV's Esper Control with AVR and I added last moment awfull SB.
The deck plays fair, not an easy deck to play with. I won 2 very tight matches vs Frites.

by Mitchmachine on 2012-04-25 09:10 CET

I don't like any of this decks :(

by Roman_ on 2012-04-25 11:13 CET

Ulvenwald Tracker + Strangleroot Geist it`s awesome.

Not that suprised there arn't that many Caverns, in the end only Humans can really "abuse it". It can be used as a 1-2 off in other decks to, but that's purely a techy thing. Perhaps we'll see that 1-2 in GR Wolfrun.

The RG aggro is good, not a fan, but the deck preforms well and uses the best cards.

The WU Humans is what I expected, good and even better vs control now (Thalia + Cavern is rough for all types of control).

I am not a fan of the WUB lists, the latest non-AVR version still seems better than both of these. Tamiyo feels way to slow anyway for the current format.

Last but not least, ponder is the only card that might make those miracles happen, why run miracles and not run ponder is beyond me.

I dunno what you talkin about with. Not liking the esper. Contr list It should have been top 2 took game loss cuz I was late but Tamiyo is compatible to JTMS believe it or not it's plus 1 is better than jaces -1 because well ur plussing not minusing it's second ability can allow u to draw more cards than jace without having to put any back and it's ultimate wins u games just like big jace so for those of u doubtin this car cuz of mana cost need to test with it n will c how AMAZING it is predict this card to sky rocket in price and OWN. The format

by Mitchmachine on 2012-04-25 17:44 CET

Killax ponder doesnt make miracle better, since u'd have drawn it anyway in the first 3 turns.

If u shuffle u make odds of drawing it as a 2nd draw spell.

by straca3 on 2012-04-25 18:40 CET

@ Dvale: Is this english or what?

by on 2012-04-25 19:40 CET

MitchMachine, offcourse.
But I can't fully agree on the not-making-it-better part, timing when your miracle happens is important/powerfull enough to run it side to side with deck manipulation imho.

by Pegachris on 2012-04-25 21:23 CET

I've been testing the miracle cards in Legacy, mainly temporal mastery and it is nuts. Personal Tutors is also fine to set up time walk but I wouldn't overload on them. The only question is what is the best deck to fit it into.

by Kabelis on 2012-04-25 23:15 CET

Yeah, setting it up isn't TOO hard, but in all honesty, in most decks it will be basically just an explore which isn't worth the effort.
Also cards like predict may be run which is the biggest blowout in the history of magic.

Dvale123110 is a nice cheater ... stalling all time and causes acess violation and culp us

The most idiotic post i've seen in years. Comparing Tamiyo with Jace was already embarrassing for you, but saying that Tamiyo could be better than Jace? What drugs do to a person, geez.....

by on 2012-04-26 13:08 CET

Dvale123110, U dunno what you talkin about with.

by Terri on 2012-04-27 00:42 CET

@Ryk: thats what i dont like on ml you cant trust anyone. people try to cheat or ruleslawyering with false rulings or fishing for wins when someone makes misclicks. thats why i stopped playing in here :(

by ChristPunchr on 2012-04-29 01:34 CET

Saying Tamiyo is anywhere near as good as Mindsculptor is a sign that someone either did not ever play with the latter and/or has a poor grasp on "theory" because there are countless huge differences.

Tamiyo is okay, but requires lots of help to generate card advantage.

Dvale is a testament to how much easier the control archetype will be to play with the draw-go style getting raped by the R & D team. Hurray! Faceroll tap-out control. SNORE

by Ansore on 2012-05-01 12:03 CET

4th deck = lsv's :D
