This looks to actually be a fun format now that we have the full block. No one overwhelmingly powerful strategy, large focus on artifacts but also a large number of decent value cards against them for a solid balance.

Regarding Tempered Steel and whether it gained alot from NPH or not: Porcelain Legionaire?? I'm surprised that among the 3 top3 Steel decks, only Incontroll played it. It seems like the shizit. It might just be that evasion and/or dodging sorcery speed removal (Black Sun's Zenith hello) is more important, but I think you need some really good reasons to play Glint Hawk Idol over a 3/1 First Strike for 2)

Also the other cheap early artifact creatures are all up for consideration but Vault Skirge seems like an incredible 1-drop, and maybe Hex Parasite too. Eating planeswalkers and Tumble Magnets seems pretty nice when you are forced into the long game.
