![]() Old format is old. by ![]() wow such bad tezz lists by ![]() Awesome format, must be fun. by ![]() The format is great! Has has some ups and downs as far as excitement, and seeing only tezz+dredge is top 4 is a snore.. but what can u do.. my sb was terrible except for a couple will timed Ravenous traps. Needed leyline instead of other crap in there. but it was a work in progress for a specific meta that i did not re tune for this event. kinda hard to get a ML vintage meta with so few events.
by ![]() Sorry but I have a noob question: How do you actually get a mana producing land into play? Or Petrified Field for that matter? Once the engine starts, it seems that you never actually draw any cards. So are you just hoping to get a mana producer in your opening hand or counting on it being one of your early draws before Dredge hits the graveyard? by ![]() by Lewmizzle on 2010-08-16 03:07 EDT
by ![]() I'm familiar with Legacy dredge, but why does Vintage dredge use Fatestitcher? by ![]() @Jingles: The mana lands are basically for games 2 and 3. In game 1 you won't need to spend any mana (unless you play Fatestitcher or draw spells), but in sideboarded games you'll need mana to cast your anti-hate cards, like Nature's Claim. In post-sb games Bazaar draws you two extra cards each turn, making it easy to find either the land or the anti-hate card you need to deal with Leyline/Jailor. Petrified field basically acts as Bazaar 5-7 against Wasteland/Strip Mine and it helps triggering landfall for Bloodghasts multiple times.
