4 Stirring Wildwood
4 Sunpetal Grove
1 Forest
4 Explore

are very mono white

by TugaChampion on 2010-03-03 23:14 CET

jund is clearly the most skilless deck ever. Lincao played like crap against me but obv topdecked like a pro and stole g1. g2 I was gonna win next turn (and he had no outs) when my internet fails. I come back a bit after 5 minutes. I ask him to to go to g3 or at least try to reconnect but seeing as he was a 1600 random he just wanted to win in any possible way (because he can't win by normal means) so he didn't accept. Clearly a waste of 2 byes.

by Flaxh on 2010-03-03 23:28 CET

This is probably the most boring format i've ever seen

by mchosa on 2010-03-03 23:29 CET

fuckin QQ about it

by ovmlcabrera on 2010-03-04 00:01 CET

heey here tooo lincao topdeck me all time :(

by SidMeier on 2010-03-04 00:50 CET

That's what it is in single elim. You have to be lucky.

My matchups were boros/jund/jund/mirror/jund
It was a fun day. I think 26 lands was too much with just four man lands, i think i need at least 1 more stirring wildwood. The spearbreakers won me a few games but where the first things i sided out. I drew kiss once, and I was already way ahead. Jenara ate two goblin tokens each time played and I never drew rafiq, I think he should be a different threat. Maybe Master of the Wild Hunt

"""by manachuel on 2010-03-03 17:49 EST

This is far and away the most retarded statement I have ever read. Your deck is most defiantly Green white, considering......*SHOCKING*...........YOU PLAY GREEN CARDS!!! And guess what the green card you do play guessed it...RAMP your mana.

by Lincao on 2010-03-04 01:01 CET

Tuga u only know cry !! =p

ovmlcabrera is right i draw 2 angels topdeck hehe.

cya tomorrow in next trial =p

by Plebe on 2010-03-04 01:24 CET

but this tournament was not played the final drop that I had to leave

by on 2010-03-04 01:39 CET

Bahahahahaha. Neat 3rd and 4th decks though.

by darkwizard42 on 2010-03-04 02:54 CET

TugaChampion: this is like going to the bathroom and coming back after five minutes...don't cry about crappy internet, he did the right thing by taking the win

by mchosa on 2010-03-04 03:39 CET

by gypsy on 2010-03-04 05:28 CET

tugachampion if someone disconnected you and was gone for 5 mins, i bet 100 million dollars you would take the win, cause ur a little whiny faggot like that.

by McBallin on 2010-03-04 07:17 CET

hahah tuga is a bitch

by Krastino on 2010-03-04 07:52 CET

I think that the winning list runs too many lands (I know Gortzne did it too). You are going to be flooded so many times...whene I played 25 lands it was all, with Raging Ravine, I think I'll run 26 lands with no accelerations, and I'll never be flooded...c'mon, Bituminous Blast is too good right now not to be played :)

by on 2010-03-04 09:01 CET

The ravines and reaches are essentially serving double-duty as early land drops and late game bombs that allow you to trick opponents into burning mass removal and the like only to have you drop a man land the following turn.

You don't have to play a land at every single opportunity...especially when the deck has plenty of land to hang on to the man lands while still making drops...Jund also plays high-impact and overall quality cards and often times making land drops and curving-out is preferable to threat density.

by TugaChampion on 2010-03-04 09:08 CET

lol I didn't whine in the trial comments for several months. Now I whine because the guy that won lacks a brain and was only able to win because of my disconnection. If he played well I wouldn't complainning even after losing g2 like that. However when you see someone make missplay after missplay, topdeck ftw and then win a game that was lost because of disconnection, that's too much.

Also I'm glad this trial wasn't on the front page for even 12 hours as it has to have the worst trial winner in quite a while.

by Bantos86 on 2010-03-04 14:03 CET

@Tuga: <%Ehri> dont complain :/

I thought judges weren't supposed to piss and moan about losing in public? That they're supposed to, you know, set a good example or something?

by TugaChampion on 2010-03-04 17:21 CET

that's why I haven't complained since I became a judge (and it hasn't been easy) but I just lost to the worst player I've played for some time and in the most ridiculous way so yeah I'm pissed.

Also someone who can't even speak decent english deserves all the complains: "Tuga u only know cry !! =p"

by moscowdemon on 2010-03-04 17:41 CET

<%Ehri> dont complain :/

by Bantos86 on 2010-03-04 22:10 CET

Tuga, then congrats on holding back this long, but now that you've finally blown your top, all the effort you put into NOT doing so have come to nothing. You're pissed, I get it. But this isn't the place for it, nor the forums (not that you complained on the forums too, I'm just saying). If you've got a problem with a particular player playing badly, take up with him/her on IRC or Yahoo IM or something like that.

You represent ML. Even if you're just a level 1 judge, you represent them in some fashion. Don't make judges look like assholes. Don't make the ML staff look like they made a bad decision when they allowed you to become a judge. Hold yourself to a higher standard now. You lost. Take it like a grown-up.

by TugaChampion on 2010-03-05 01:42 CET

it's not like I'm the first (or the last for all it matters) judge to complain in the trial comments. And most of those are still judges.

by on 2010-03-05 04:15 CET

wow the randomness of the jund the second seemed stroger...
bant is dead must have had easy match-ups...
GW Ramp list screems of noob...

you guys always amaze me

by on 2010-03-11 07:36 CET

@Flaxh; the players make this the boring format i've ever seen! The format is made by people who only plays tier 1 even in magic-league where you don't loose nothing.
