by clayparson on 2010-02-09 03:51 CET

Why old jace over new jace?

by LordLink on 2010-02-09 04:13 CET

Because he hasn't downloaded the Worldwake spoiler yet?

X spells over Bloodbraid is curious. I would have thought Rampant Growth into Bloodbraid into turn 4 Broodmate would be the ideal curve.

Combomaster r u serious? All I had to do was resolve a Violent Ultimatum or a mind Shatter... I felt sorry for the dude. Both games he had no lands left :) Easiest matchup ever. If he had 25 counters maybe he'd have a chance...

by Berzerker on 2010-02-09 07:50 CET

I still don't know why an Eldrazi Green list wouldn't run Jorga Warcaller, it allows for an easy turn 4 or 5 win against most decks.

by corbox on 2010-02-09 07:53 CET

Yeah same for Wolfbriar Elemental, such a good card in this deck ...

by Berzerker on 2010-02-09 08:12 CET

Agreed he is arguable better than Master of the Wild Hunt in a lot of matches

by corbox on 2010-02-09 08:19 CET

Very agree my friend !

by Djinn on 2010-02-09 10:30 CET

Are you two the same person? ._.

by boeda on 2010-02-09 10:37 CET

No, but I am the same person either..

by TugaChampion on 2010-02-09 11:02 CET

everytime the format is new a ramp deck wins a few times. When the format actually settles people realize it's a terrible deck and don't play it anymore.

by Mengu09 on 2010-02-09 12:31 CET

why not land 3/4 :)
kotorro have u downloaded wwk patch :)

by Lynolf on 2010-02-09 20:43 CET

TugaChampion: Don't forget the metagame right now has a lot of aggro-control/midrange decks, so a deck like the first, which is very strong in the mid-game and late-game, has very high chances of winning, like it proved in this trial. Not saying the deck is bad, but Red Deck Wins and Boros Bushwacker would probably tear it to pieces if Orgios battled them. Also notice that the only creature it has is a single Broodmate Dragon. And why no Sprouting Thrinax, to help you against aggro decks?

by KoToRRo on 2010-02-09 22:25 CET

my mws dont recognize wwk , what ever i can play without wwk

<<Not saying the deck is bad, but Red Deck Wins and Boros Bushwacker would probably tear it to pieces if Orgios battled them. Also notice that the only creature it has is a single Broodmate Dragon. And why no Sprouting Thrinax, to help you against aggro decks?>>

It has a lot of creature removal and 4 beautiful Malakir Bloodwitch + 4 Nighthawk Vampire in side. Enough to deal with boros. I had a lesser number of those cards in my Grixis Control and got approx. 40/100 victories against boros. Red deck wins was a terrible match.

This deck could have problems with RDW too because it doesn't seem to have enough instant removal.

by Orgios on 2010-02-10 07:16 CET

Zeph covered it all... Thanks!!

With Kor Firewalker in the format there's no reason to play RDW any more. You may win my deck but loose to anything playing white. Before you take a deck to any tournament you have to consider the metagame, take a good guess and you might win! :)
