Truth > Extended

by P_P4E on 2010-01-13 04:50 CET

I built that deck 5 minutes before the trial. I got lucky in every round but the second and last, so I'm pretty happy.

that 2nd place deck drew all the good cards vs me in the semis' and left all the bad ones in the deck every single game, now that I see that pile.

I also have reason to believe he's not a good player, as he didn't bring in Spell snare or goyf that I know of.

Question: should I put the two variants of Scapeshift under the same category, or under two different categories?

by ckfnpku on 2010-01-13 05:15 CET

Different categories. One is aggro, the other control. Radically different decks.

by cram320 on 2010-01-13 05:20 CET

2 different

by defuseKid on 2010-01-13 05:28 CET

2 Sunny Side Up (2.77%)

what is that?

where is my deck? Ironworks.. lost vs mill first round <.<

by DARKING on 2010-01-13 05:53 CET

That's your deck, defuseKid. I name it because it reminds me a lot of the old Sunny Side up deck, sacrificing artifacts for mana then returning them via Second Sunrise.

by InWaking on 2010-01-13 06:13 CET

@p_p4e I did side them in I just didn't draw all the "good" cards vs you the other games. plus Cryptic command is retarded sorry you can't play around it.

@Ffancrzy <33

@Truth- I respect your deck building and play skill Truth>extended

and to everyone who said my deck sucks, suck it.

How can the Living End deck protect against Counterspells?

by alexcarbajal on 2010-01-13 10:12 CET

Why Living end instead of Hypergenesis? :|

by Vodka_7up on 2010-01-13 11:45 CET

because he cycles a whack load of creatures into his graveyard.

the better question is how/if is the winning deck better than hypergenesis?

by meoni on 2010-01-13 11:50 CET

For me iperg. is more strong.. but this is my opionion

by alexcarbajal on 2010-01-13 12:16 CET

Well... living end says that each player sacrifice all creatures. So if you play living end before the opponent cast Hypergenesis... malfegor effect

by Mengu09 on 2010-01-13 12:18 CET

si dice stronger :)

btw living end have more answers to hate, for exemple it can fight with his beats or destroy lands with fulminator or riders in side.

maybe vexing shusher is good?? and win vs counter fighting :) or doing cascade in eot and cascade in his turn as hiper

by Truth- on 2010-01-13 14:19 CET

Living End is better than Hypergen. You can cast your threats to win games easily. I think there were a number of matches today where I won because I simply cast guys that were bigger than or just as big as the Goyfs my opponent had. This deck also does not die to hate that easily. I was playing against UWB aggro and he had a turn 0 leyline followed by chalice for 0 , Meddling Mage, and a Jotun Grunt. I couldn't simply grip the leyline and combo. So I just took the man plan approach. In the end he died to his own Dark Confidant. Against Cloud game 2 AND 3 he began with leyline on turn 0. Against the RGb Scapeshift deck I had to play around relics. The deck doesn't just lose to hate like hypergen does.

by DH on 2010-01-13 18:56 CET

by Malakai97 on 2010-01-13 19:38 CET

Tarmogoyf in the side cannot possibly correct.

by rafaruggi on 2010-01-13 19:59 CET

Lol, i wanna play with Eggs.dec too :(

by Ashmatan on 2010-01-13 21:21 CET

I've been watching Living End wreck extended shop for like 6 or so months at my local shop and just now it's showing up here. Guys, it's the poo, plain and simple. Drawing tons of cards, playing fatties, and beating face is SO MUCH FUN. Oh yeah watching your opponent's face as you play Living End on his turn when all his dudes hit the grave and your board fills up and swing FTW on your turn is just plain satisfying. LOL!

by Desensitizer on 2010-01-13 22:16 CET

I bought all the remaining cards to make Living End for $10 plus shipping. I just need mad meta help.

by Shagrath on 2010-01-13 22:19 CET

Im curious about Truth's matchups.I may be wrong but doesnt a deck like fae , with some cspells and hand disruption wreck Living end completely?

by Desensitizer on 2010-01-13 22:23 CET

Same. Come on out and bask in the glory/help the fans Truth!

Hi truth, i was wondering - if you weren't restricted to cards limited in extended, what might your living end deck look like?
