1 Bye x3. Cool.

by brimstone on 2009-02-07 02:53 CET

Please note, that if I'm going to be running the master (as is currently planned) the time on the front page is wrong, it should be 2pm est, :(.

by Lynolf on 2009-02-07 10:58 CET

That's cool, that's cool. The only thing I want to know is:

WHY THE FUCK DO YOU KEEP CHANGING THE TIME OF THE MASTER? ISN'T IT GOOD AS IT IS???

by RiQuSP on 2009-02-07 13:16 CET

Language, keep in mind that the judge running the master has to give up about 10 hours to run it. As we all have our lives, maybe its better for him (or the time in general for most players) to start @ 2PM.

Also: 2 byes, but not playing :(

by Teknolink on 2009-02-07 13:50 CET

Obviously a wrong time again, screwing the Euros over. I planned on playing tonight but it seems they can change the master date 1 day in advance :/

by Lynolf on 2009-02-07 15:43 CET

RiQusSP: Yes, you're right, but that's still no excuse. Magic-league has lots of judges, and if I know correctly, brimstone was TC of the last master as well. I don't mind, he could be TC of as many masters as he likes. What bugs me is that since he's TC, AGAIN, Europeans, like me, get screwed and won't be able to play THE WHOLE Master. I believe this should be changed, since Magic-league is not American-players only.

by Ehri on 2009-02-07 18:19 CET

First the master was sceduled at saturday 4 pm CET then it was changed to sunday 6 pm CET and now its was changed to 8 pm CET, which means its absolutely impossible for whole europe and several other parts of the world to play the master.
And btw only ~30 of the top 150 players are US americans. I think this is the typical way for them to deal with things - ignore the rest of the players.

by brimstone on 2009-02-07 20:20 CET

The only reason it's this late is because I have a relatively somber commitment (not a religious obligation) that I must attend to each Sunday morning. Since no one else was willing and able to host the master this week, that left it to me to do.

I would like to point out that Ehri and Linkman have NO RIGHT to complain as they can run it themselves if they wanted to. I am not trying to screw Europeans over on purpose (as Ehri stupidly implies), but I CAN NOT make it any earlier as I have the aforementioned commitment.

by TugaChampion on 2009-02-07 20:33 CET

**Warned: consider the volunteer work before you decide to deride it**

by Wichtelman on 2009-02-07 21:22 CET

cry me a river... :D

by derflippi on 2009-02-07 21:32 CET

The best solution for ppl complaining about "late" masters is they VOLUNTEER themselves. Thank you.

by TugaChampion on 2009-02-07 21:51 CET

rofl I'm not a judge so even if I had the time for this one I couldn't.

Seems like another epic fail master.

by FlyingFreak on 2009-02-07 22:19 CET

wtf an american masters ?

discrimination !

by Verdana on 2009-02-08 00:56 CET

@Tuga : then become a judge and host them.

people need to start contributing if they want to have any right at complaining.

by brimstone on 2009-02-08 01:29 CET

I'd just like to add that since this time is all so inconvenient for everyone this will be the last master I run.

by PV on 2009-02-08 03:18 CET

Honestly, can't you just shut up?

Brimesone is an excellent tc and he is tcing at the time he is able to. If you don't like it you can become a judge and TC it yourself.

Or you can just leave if you think it's that ridiculous.

by snoopster on 2009-02-08 06:02 CET

hey, what about us Norfolk Island people? can't forget about us!

by Dragonmast3r on 2009-02-08 08:19 CET

lol @snoopster

brimstone is a great tc.

the last master were brimstone was tc ing was very fast.

if some of the players wouldn't use the full time of 45mins a round.

the master would be done much earlier.

too bad the master starting time for europeans are very late.

so it is very tight to play the full master of nine rounds.

again, brimstone is a great tc, don't blame, also people have a REAL LIFE too.

by Lynolf on 2009-02-08 11:53 CET

Dragonmaster and PV: I'm not saying brimstone is a bad TC. In fact, he is a great TC, and I admire him. For me, it could even be TC of all masters made in magic-league, IF it didn't imply NOT playing in it!!!

by LordLink on 2009-02-08 13:37 CET

I know everyones probably sick of me saying it by now, but if Weedmonkey, Grix, Teh_Blues and I can all play in regular trials/masters at 2:00am-7:00am then you Europeans can suck it up and take it.

by Lynolf on 2009-02-08 19:22 CET

Lordlink, we aren't Batman, like you. ;)

by HdH_Cthulhu on 2009-02-16 01:10 CET
