1. Please introduce yourself (name, country, etc)
<it> Jesse Hawkins, I'm 14 years old, and I'm from South Carolina, USA, Milky Way Galaxy.
2. How long do you play magic in general and when did you started playing in the league?
<it> I started late into Legions. I began to play competitively in Mirrodin. I started playing in the league in 5th Dawn, but not competitively here until I made this nick.
3. What attracted you to the game? Do you believe it is something more than just a strategy game?
<it> I started playing Magic after my store got robbed of its Yu-gi-oh cards, and I then traded in my Yu-gi-oh cards for a goblin bidding deck. I wanted to play the game because it seemed much more serious then Yu-gi-oh.
4. Are you satisfied with the current activities/organization of the League and would you change anything?
<it> That is a tough question. I think that the operators should try and find better ways to attract more players. For example, I think two trials a day would work really well because players love winning big tournaments and free wins (byes). Also, I believe that the league should try and work on having better judge prizes etc. so that judges are more inclined to have more minis (something that many people complain about).
5. Are there any league players you consider very tough opponents and why?
<it> Not especially, and I don't want to sound cocky, but I believe that when I go into a match, I am always the best player. If you don't treat every match that way, your morale goes down, and that increases play mistakes.
6. What is your overall goal in magic?
<it> My ultimate goal is to win worlds, but that is going to take a few years.
7. Who do you think is the best player in the league?
<it> Me, at the moment, but most of the people in the top 50, maybe 100, are all very good players.
8. What is your favorite format to play at the moment?
<it> At the moment, my favorite format is Ravnica Draft because I think that it takes a lot of skill since many cards in the format have a high power level.
9. Which m-l player would you like to meet IRL?
<it> Wow, there are so many. Well, when I went to JSS/Nationals this year, I was hoping to get to meet Jenneke and Witness_Kebe. Jenneke (Andrew Ross) was able to make it but Witness_Kebe (Ben Cox) was not. By the way, you [Gerrardfo] should have come.
10. Do you have any accomplishments you're particularly proud of?
<it> Well, at the moment, I am the 2nd highest rated, 15 and under, player in composite in the world. I got 9th at JSS Championships, but that was more of a burden (9th is not a fun place to get).
11. Is there anything you would like to add?
<it> Nope, thanks for the interview Evan.

Man, I wish I had seen this earlier. I barely remember carrying our team, but I do remember it. How did I not get mentioned but kebe does? :<
