1)<Black_Elf> Please introduce yourself. Real name, age and location
<Dirkjan> Dirkjan, 25 and The Netherlands :D

2)<Black_Elf> For how long have you been playing magic? And for how long have you been "playing" in m-l?
<Dirkjan> I started playing MTG on a summer holidays when I was away with family.
<Dirkjan> My nephew had a Green White deck with Serra Angels, I liked the look of the cards, and was fascinated by fantasy in general.
<Dirkjan> That was probably around The Dark, I didnt liked that set, but it was in stores. I started with black and green, so I mainly bought the main sets, to start a deck with Sengirs, Elves and even a Force of Nature.
<Dirkjan> I played in online leagues like e-league and mtgonline, but didnt liked their structure, so decided to start my own one. This was around september 2000 I think.
<Dirkjan> I started it with a friend of my from mtgleague, his nick was Ertai. He was a Greek guy, and soon Alex took his place. I knew Koen because he started a dutch MTG chatroom on IRC, and he joined too. The 3 of us made the league to a serious new online play system.

3)<Black_Elf> Alrighty , what's your favorite format and favorite card?
<Dirkjan> My favorite format depends on how much I am into MTG. Currently I dont play at all, so I like Vintage a lot since my old decks, can still work there, and that way I can still participate. My favorite card is hard to say, probably something like Mystic Snake or Desertion. I love those actions.

4)<Black_Elf> so i take it you don't play Irl anymore? What's your rating nowadays?
<Dirkjan> I stopped playing often in real life, as soon as I started the league. So thats for years. I played some tournaments, but not many.
<Dirkjan> My rating.... I honestly dont know. I guess its still somewhere around 1700 in real life.
<Dirkjan> In the league I am currently not rated.

5)<Black_Elf> Can you name some ppl that are on your people to kill/meet list?
<Dirkjan> I have met him before, but never really spoke to him: Noah Boeken an old European Champion from the Netherlands.
<Dirkjan> I dont really have a kill list I guess.
<Black_Elf> Noone from magic-league?
<Dirkjan> I would like to meet Alex and Lydonius again though! Met them last year, and it was fun. :D I still need to drink some beers with the greek guys Alex and Ertai. (Does Ertai still play in the league?)
<Black_Elf> I think i saw ertari round here, yup definetly did i remember beating him with my monoblack

6)<Black_Elf> What do you do in the league?
<Black_Elf> Except kicking innocent men :)
<Dirkjan> nothing :D
<Dirkjan> I am bad in judging, so sometimes I kick guilty men too :P
<Black_Elf> So you're like a honorary judge or something right?
<Dirkjan> I am founder, and currently try to find some bigger sponsors :P

7)<Black_Elf> How do you feel about the changes in M-L? And are there any changes planned for the future?
<Dirkjan> Well..
<Dirkjan> the things I think..
<Dirkjan> well the things I think about changes or stuff.
<Dirkjan> I dont know if I can tell you my current thoughts about some league subjects, because I dont know if koen or alex think they are confidential

8)<Black_Elf> So this is the first time i've seen you here in a while, planning a comeback? a coup or something?
<Dirkjan> I have made my comeback into the staff a few weeks ago, yes.
<Black_Elf> And for how long do you plan on sitting with us?
<Dirkjan> I am not planning a coup :P haha, nor am I planning to come back as main operator. I dont think I should mix with Koen, Alex or Nico on their subjects, but some things that I have experience with, with my real time job, I hope to add to the league. They are mostly marketing related.
<Dirkjan> I am planning to do that a little until July, and from then on, I am probably back full time.
<Black_Elf> Well thanks a lot unlce dirkjan :)
