1. Please introduce yourself and tell us where you are from.

<roelof> my name is Roelof Sasburg, i'm 16 years old, and i live in heeze, the netherlands.


2. How long have you been playing Magic?(and Magic-League, for that matter)

<roelof> magic since i was 8, about 8.5 yrs i guess.
<roelof> m-l for something like 1.5 or 2 years, dunno
<roelof> something in between :P


3. what do you like and not like about Magic-League, and what do you think should be improved and/or changed

<roelof> i like the masters and the large prizes for free tournaments
<roelof> and i think more euro masters would be a very good thing


4. You're doing very well on league, but how are you doing IRL? have you played any large tournaments for instance?

<roelof> ive played 1 gp life time which i t16'ed and nationals 1 time where i got 20ths
<roelof> and some ptq's, about 6 i think
<roelof> of which i t8'ed one


5. who do you think is the best all-around magic player on the league?

<roelof> thalai


6. what is your opinion about the new invite masters

<roelof> i think its a very good thing, 8-9 hours masters really dont benefit anyone and in general ppl who cant t8 a trial or t16 ratings wouldnt be winning a master anyway or would be winning by luck which obv isnt a good thing
<roelof> or they would be some passsing by good players, who dont really belong to the league
<roelof> so shouldnt be getting prizes no? :p


7.do you use magic-league just to play for fun or do you test here.

<roelof> i kinda think of it as testing but playing in mini's doesnt really teach u anything. i do test a lot with ppl i know from the league like KaleGozer which is helpfull

8. what is your rating IRL?

<roelof> 1862 cons i think and somthing bad limited


9. What is your favorite format

<roelof> t2, nothing else is even close
