I thought of absorb/armour as a good way to counteract berserk, but its true it could get powerful. I think it should be something reserved mostly for equipments, auras, and a few W and B creatures... ...

I think for Norse covering the colour pie is not that hard. Sketchy mythology:

Odin is Blue (mind, magic), plus sides with white (kingship,law) and black (death)
Thor is Red (lightning) and Green ...

Im an old MUC (yes, that archetype that seems to fail miserably since creatures are so big-n-fast) player, which was probably the most controllish thing Ive seen.

Another thing:

4x nissas chosen is something I really like. Especially if leyline of vitality is in, it becomes a red-stopper with 4 toughness. But 3 is already quite good.

I play a very similar list, with a few changes.

I dont play oran-rief. I run 4 tectonic edges. It ruins ramp and control decks if you slow them a single turn.
