Once your guy is declared blocked he is blocked and it is too late. You need to tap his guy before he declares it as a blocker.

of course the downside of playing chalice now is that many of your opponents will have GSZ as well!

I'm not really following why that is a problem :/

I think 3 jitte is wrong, 2 maybe and add sword of feast and famine, you would always have regen mana then, or sword of vengeance maybe, or even loxodon warhammer to help against aggro/burn/etc. But y ...

MBC needs Corrupt and Tendrils of corruption.

You straight up loose to Stag and Colossus though.

Telemin Performance is also used against turbofog if I'm not mistaken.
Merfolk tend to have a copy on side for that reason.
