If you are in the top 8 of a Pro Tour and you miss your own trigger on AOD you deserve to lose. They both would receive warnings it is not only kiblers fault.

yes you can play spells in draw step after they draw and before there main phase. they will have a chance to respond and play instants if they choose to.

if you look at pack 1 pick 2 there are 9 commons this means the card picked was common. so maybe they took o-ring but you should still take the gargoyle.
