Question #1
Difficulty: Easy
This happened to me:
Me
In play - 2x Skyknight Legionairre, 1x War-Torch Goblin, 3x Mountain, 3x Plains
Life - 11
Hand - Nothing
Opponent
In play - 1x Conclave Equanaunt, 1x Veteran Armor, 1x Selesnya Evangel, 1x Nightguard Patrol, 1x Saproling token, 3x Plains, 2x Swamp
Life - 4
Hand - Nothing
My opponent is fairly smart. It's my turn, everything is untapped. How do I win next turn? (Note: There is no burn in my library! Try to assume that the next card I draw and my opponent draws are lands.)
PS: I lost.

I feel ashamed answering this...
attack with both legionaires, put damage on the stack, sac your war-torch goblin to finish off the equenaught, assuming your opponent blocks, untap, attack again... |

Lol, yeah, sorry. That was was very easy. I had easy in the difficulty, but I wasn't sure.
Question #2
Difficulty: Moderately Hard
I activate Memory Jar. Then I use welder to get it back, and use it again. At the end of my turn, which hand do I keep?
This one may be kind of easy. Depends on who you are.

Memory Jar
5
Artifact
Tap, Sacrifice Memory Jar: Each player removes his or her hand from the game face down, and draws seven cards. At end of turn, each player discards his or her hand and returns to his or her hand each card he or she removed from the game this way.
Memory Jar sets up a delayed triggered ability, at end of turn discard the hands are return all cards removed from the game this way.
So, you have Hand 1. You active Jar, setting aside hand 1, drawing hand 2. You repeat, setting aside Hand 2 and drawing hand 3.
At end of turn, you have 2 triggers to fulfill. You could discard Hand 3, and return hand 1. Then discard Hand 1 and return hand 2 if you so desired.
Answer: Either the Original Hand or the Hand drawn off the First Memory Jar activation....your choice. |
