ninjutsu

when i use ninjutsu and for example i removed the unblock 1/1 creature and replaced it with a ninja 3/3 attacking. what'll be the total damage dealt to the player? is it 3 or 4? because all along i've been playing with the damage of the first attacking creature plus the 2nd attacking creature until someone told me that it's not that way. now im confused. thanks

3 damage, because the first creature is returned to your hand after blockers are declared but before damage is put on the stack.

Yes, you can, but if a token leaves play, it ceases to exist.

all right another one. i was told when my creature i.e. 1/1 has a first strike it can deal dmg first and then i can sneak in my ninja i.e. 3/3 so the total dmg would be 4 right? if yes then what if my creature has double strike? does that mean the total dmg would be 5?

Alright, I'll spell this out for you.
First is declare attackers step. That's when you say your creature (1/1) is attacking. Second is declare blockers step. If your creature (1/1) is not blocked, then you can use the Ninjutsu ability. Then begins the combat damage step. First, first strike damage is assigned. Players may play spells or abilities. Then normal combat damage is assigned.

Your original creature (1/1) is returned to your hand before any damage of any nature is assigned by it. So you end up dealing 3 damage (assuming the creature you Ninjutsu in is a 3/x), no matter what abilities the 1/1 creature has.
