OMG will someone PLEASE test a deck that beats faeries, merfolk, or reveilark variant? Or maybe blue in general? Cuz this is just getting OLD!!!

You know everyone keeps asking for a deck that consistently beats faeries, merfolk, and revilark. The problem I see with this is that if there was a deck that beat all three of these deck types then everyone would be running it. Then the same people would be asking for a deck that beat the deck that beats the others named.
In every Standard metagame there are decks that stand out. In invasion it was Goblins and Elves. Guildpact had probably the most tier one decks seen in a long time. B/W council, Dredge, and zoo.Then came the inclusion of time spiral. Out came D-storm and mystical teachings decks. All of these decks became popular because of the metagame and because they won games.
If you want to talk about metagames dominated by one deck type then how about we talk about mirrodon. Can anyone say Affinity? My god, Affinity ruled everything. I can't think of a single deck that didn't run at least some elements of the basic affinity build. Even after it rotated out of standard it still ruled extended and even legacy until parts of it were banned.
In conclusion. At least these decks are beatable. Maybe only by eachother. But at least there are options. And never underestimate the power of rogue decks. The moment you don't prepare for them is the moment you are owned by one.
