Does anyone have a suggestion for a good and fun myr/artifact deck with maybe a nim or 2 in there. I was just looking for a casual deck to build with some affinity for artifacts that wasn't really expensive to make.

I just liked the idea of the metal myrs (gold, copper, etc) and how affinity works, with maybe a few somber hoverguards.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Well, put lotas of Frogmited, Myr Enforcers, Hoverguards, Thoughtcasts, Overrides, Broodstar, Servitors, Retrievers, and Skullclamps into a deck.

That is Myrish Affinity.

All excellent suggestions. I'll try to come up with a decklist by morning.

I had this old shat deck I'd take to multiplayer games just because I could. It was basically 18 lands, 29 myrs of your choosing, mana echoes, skullclamp, some form of x damage spell and urza's incubator set on myr. Basically the principal was to get out a mana echoes, an incubator set on myr and a skulclamp, or any combination I suppose, and basically go to town playing free myrs and making mana off of them with mana echoes and then sacking them via skullclamp to find the additional combo peices or more myrs to sack. Incredibly fun to play. Should try it out if thats what youre lookin for.

I used to play w/ a deck that used genesis chamber with myr servitor, myr retriever, frogmite, myr enforcer, myr matrix; use all these creatures coming into play to trigger intruder alarm to untap all creatures(silver myr, and any lands you can change into creatures) over and over and over.

cranial plating
lodestone myr
thoughtcast
broodstar
quicksilver dragon

you get the idea

obviously u should build it the cool, more fun way, that may happen to be extremely worse: use lodestone myr and blinkmoth urn and broodstars and and genesis chamber and disciple skullclamp...etc.

way more fun

Skull clamp is such a good card, despite the fact that it's banned. But honestly it's fun and who cares? Here's a tentative decklist I came up with:

16 Seat of the Synod
7 Vault of Whispers

4 Frogmite
2 Broodstar
2 Qumulox
4 Ornithopter
4 disciple of the vault
2 lodestone myr
4 somber hoverguard

4 Welding Jar
2 Aether Vial
4 Skullclamp
3 Thoughcast
2 Assert Authority

The only thing I needed was more token makers other than genesis chamber because other people I play with play standard aggro and I think it may hurt me to give them attackers as well. Unless of course it would profit me more for affinity abilities.......

Suggestions? Comments?

well the problem is that I don't know if I have enough creatures with a toughness of 1 to clamp. Which is why I was trying to think of more cheap myr or other creatures that would work in the deck.
Maybe a few myr moonvessels, retrievers, enforcers, or servitors? Advice?

servitor, genesis chamber, auriok steelshapers(clamp costs nothing to equip with him out), frogmite(?), arcbound worker, leonin elder, soul warden, disciple of the vault.

combo!

The only reason I hesitate to put auriok steelshapers in there is because I didn't put alot of equipment in there. I want it to be fast and win by turn 5,6 or 7.
