A creature tapped by any effect can still attack if it has vigilance, is that correct?

Creatures with Vigilance can attack WITHOUT tappin, nowhere does it say that it can attack if tapped. If I Dream's Grip your Changeling Sentinal, it cannot attack.

Well, he did answer the question, lol. What more explanation can you go for? Vigilance simply says the act of attacking doesn't cause it to tap, not that it can attack while tapped. |

still this is a common question among beginners. but he responded correctly and you didn't ask him to explain so you shouldn't react like that.

However, if you attack with a vigilant creature, and then tap it for some ability that requires it to tap, it is still attacking, yes.
