When a card says "You may put a creature card from your hand into play", does that mean you won't be paying the mana cost of the creature card anymore?
What about "You may PLAY a creature card from your hand.."?
Sorry, I think I left my common sense today Thanks in advance! |

When something says "you may play from your hand" then yes you pay the costs.
When you put something into play then you won't have to pay any costs. It will still trigger comes into play abilities but won't count towards abilities that count spells/lands being played.
EX: Pandemonium will trigger but storm count will not go up. |

Yes, although the truly devilish piece (which got banned after it took a Legacy GP by storm), was Flash. =) |

| ya, if you bring in a 4cc creature with elvish piper, you dont have to make 4 manas with your vesuvan shapeshifter + gemhide combo, you can put it into play for free. |
