I have one out... so it gives me an extra upkeep. If I have 2 or more out, do I get 3, 4, maybe even 5 upkeeps?

all hazes in play will wait to go on the stack the moment active player begins his upkeep. each one tries to give 1 extra upkeep. note the wording "at the begin of player's FIRST upkeep" otherwise itd loop.

2 haze = 3 upkeep. 4 haze = 5 upkp.

yea I knew it only added to the initial upkeep. I just don't want to look like a dumbass when I try to play several and claim several upkeeps if they can only give you one extra no matter how many you have out.

Multiple Hazes will give you multiple upkeeps. Sure they all trigger at the beginning of your first upkeep but they all still resolve and give you multiple upkeeps. Also any abilities that trigger at the beginning of your upkeep will trigger on the following Haze induced upkeeps. Great way to get multiple uses out of kinship (Leaf-Crowned Elder anyone?).

From the Gatherer:
25/09/2006 If two Paradox Hazes enchant the same player, they'll both trigger when that player's first upkeep of the turn begins. The player will get two additional upkeep steps.

Not to sound critical in any way Navajoe, but from seeing a previous decklist (the merfolk) I'm not sure you have a good understanding of what happens during the upkeep.

Might want to make sure before getting your hopes way up on paradox haze. Smile

Avata....are you referring to Ink Dissolver?

If so, then his kinship will trigger with each upkeep and mill each time as long as he keeps revealing the appropriate card type.

If not, then could you clarify where you think Navajoe is going wrong with his decklist?

I was referring to this thread:

but Navajoe has realized the mistake and took the Paradox Hazes out of that deck.

What a refreshing change, coolcreep posting about gemhide slivers.
