Anyone else thinking what I am thinking? (ps if this has been posted sorry I just thought about it today while and work and I am far to lazy to check the recent post)

Explanation for those who don't get it. Shadow of Doubt on a stick keeps your opponent from searching but they still pay 3 life and with chrome mox or other mana excel you can pull it off turn 2 and stop them from searching from turn 3 on so giving them only 10 cards from there deck to answer this problem (figuring its their opening hand you can bet on at least 2 lands) and as long as you have maralen you can search out the other pieces.

*EDIT*Correction on play you would want to drop maralen turn two and the shadow on a stick turn 3 so the one card they get to search for isn't something to stop the combo.

It's a nice idea, plus the combo can search for itself. You will need A LOT of hand disruption though; Duress and thoughtseize are prime contenders. You'll need to make sure you can protect your combo. Overall, I think the established Scepter-Chant lists are beter though, because the combo protects itself, which I think is better than finding itself. You can try it out though, go for it.

Then also add annul and call the deck annul probe.

Thing is, they still get to search up one thing. So if that's lightning helix/smother/vindicate/deed etc you still fail.

Also, if they went turn 2 doran you're dead as well, you're staring at -8 per turn.
