| i dont think you have enough to use the shrapnel blast though, it would be nice, maybe u should try the simian spirit guy to secure that first turn slith or dark C. |

I like the idea a lot, but Genju of the Spires and Violent Eruption have got to go. Definately add the Great Furnaces to the mana base or cut the shrap blasts too. I like Simian Spirit Guide a lot too. |

Play 4 Great Furnace nonetheless, it will add consistency. You only have 4 artifacts to sacrifice to 3 Shrapnel Blasts.
You could replace the Eruptions by Rift Bolt, but then you would need 4.
I also like the Genjus, but I think they should be in sideboard. I wouldn't play any Wooded Foothills and 2 more Blood Crypts and 2 Mountains. You don't need all that fetching in a mono-colored deck like this.
EDIT: One more thing! Rorix Bladewing = best finisher for mono-red! |

| I forgot Nexus became an artifact creature. Nonetheless, more wouldn't hurt. |
