| I'm not totally sure if this deck is going to be as good as it was mainly because of the effect bridge will have in friggorid. Maybe change wretches to leylines to help otherwise you are just feeding their deck with the discard. |

Well for one White Knight would be great to run, if it was legal in Extended...
also yes your deck is an aggro deck, where mine is control with finishers...
and by you posting your deck just shows me that you thought mine was bad so you figured your would be better... when you initially stated that you have lost a few matches...
i would like to know what you have lost to, cause in yesterdays extended tournament i went 5-0-1 for 1st place.
my only bad match-up was the gea's might deck, but i eneded up controling his creatures, and Urami FTW....
game 2 he lost to Shade / Urami.... |

No pwnz intended. Just droppin' info on your dome.
I am testing a W/B/R aggro-control-good stuff deck.
I will post it up after testing and I come up with a name! |

BW will still remain a decent metagame choice. The main problem is the fast metagame meaning that you need your answers now, or lose, and the declining number of crap-mana decks like Tron. That gives you less margin for error, but the deck still has the tools to do well. The MD Jotun Grunts are fine even against the Bridge-versions of Friggorid, but it might be that it would be correct to SB 4 Leylines to further assist that MU. That or some Extirpates, since Ichorid does the job of putting Bridges and Ichorids into graveyard for you, so it's simple enough to remove them. This was the build I was running before I stopped playing Extended:
// Lands
4 [TSP] Flagstones of Trokair
3 [ON] Polluted Delta
4 [GP] Godless Shrine
2 [SOK] Tomb of Urami
4 [ON] Bloodstained Mire
3 [TSP] Swamp (3)
// Creatures
4 [CS] Jotun Grunt
4 [RAV] Dark Confidant
3 [TO] Nantuko Shade
3 [TSP] Serra Avenger
// Spells
4 [TSP] Smallpox
3 [TSB] Funeral Charm
4 [AP] Vindicate
4 [MR] Chrome Mox
4 [US] Duress
4 [AP] Gerrard's Verdict
3 [TO] Rancid Earth
// Sideboard
SB: 2 [JU] Cabal Therapy
SB: 3 [SOK] Pithing Needle
SB: 4 [SOK] Kataki, War's Wage
SB: 3 [PLC] Extirpate
SB: 3 [ON] Infest
The Serra Avengers are admittedly questionable (I was just testing them, would prolly be better off as Plague Slivers or such), but I liked their large butt over Hypno's random discard. Still, costing WW was a wee bit too much. Tombstalker might be worth playing as a 2-of, you can afford few big cards with Confidant, and it's really awesome in size. Extirpate is pretty good overall, it destroys Tron when you remove a Tron-piece from the game (you have more than enough means of putting them into grave), rapes Life from the Loam-based decks and now the reborn Friggorid. But yea, the deck's plan is still sound, even though Domain Zoo is a bit of an issue. Hitting them with early Smallpox usually wins the game, but outside that the deck is trouble. |
