Going wireless seems to have borked my MWS connection.

Ever since I installed my wireless router I get "10054: Connection reset by peer" about 1-2 minutes into every game. Pretty much renders my testing ability useless, and I'm most likely getting a rep as a piece of crap quitter in the process. Is there any sort of fix for this?

I know this problem its because you lose connection to your rooter for a short time, you can fix this by playing near the rooter or just by a better one. (fritz is kind of good).

I think I found the answer, port forwarding. I'm going to give that a try, looks a little complicated though.

yea ok if your rooter blocks the ports of course it wouldnt work Wink

Port forwarding is quite easy Wink

I hope so, because my router documentation doesn't have any information about it, so I'm reading through a tutorial on portforward.com.

Well I did all that, forwarded port 4747 to my new static ip address, and I still get the error. I'll keep playing some more games.
