| Why would you have that many basic lands in Extended? Your decklist? More like Ben Bleiweiss last week's wizards.com building on a budget column's deck that he went 25-0 with? I mean honestly, you don't even change the actual terrible mana base or any other cards in the deck for that matter, and you expect help with the sideboard? Did you even test this? What sideboard did you use when testing? None? Yeah right, you must at least have an idea. If you expect help with the sideboard give an idea of what the match-ups are like what does it get wrecked by? What does it destroys? Honestly dude, rofl. |

He added breeding pools for four forests, and cut the Tuskers for maindeck Trickbinds. You can play Sac lands, you know.
Needle is better than the crypt in the side. You can run Trinket Mages and a few silver bullets. Otherwise, if "only sunny side up" gave you trouble out of 50 decks, you should be happy because you've found the deck that breaks the format.
My suggestion for a SB:
1 Boseiju
3 Trinket Mage
2 Pithing Needle
1 Tormod's Crypt
1 Engeneered Explosives
4 Vinelasher Kudzu
3 Chalice of the Void (set at 1 it should help your combo matchup immensely) |

| thats a budget deck and will get totally riped apart by any tier 1 ext deck. the reason that deck went 25-0 was becasue it was playing agasint other terrible budget extend decks that probably woundnt hold a candle to current t2 decks. |

I too am playing this deck. I saw it on Building on a Budget on the Wizards site and toyed around with it. It is actually pretty fun. I'll give you my list and maybe that will help you with ideas. This list is being altered daily so it will change.
4 cloudpost
4 vesuva
1 dark depths
2 academy ruins
2 island
3 forest
4 yavimaya coast
4 breeding pool
2 triskelion
4 sakura-tribe elder
2 Elvish Aberration
3 mindslaver
2 wurmcalling
2 spell burst
4 sylvan scrying
4 senseiīs divining top
3 reap and sow
3 oblivion stone
3 momentīs peace
3 petals of insight
Sideboard
1 Sky Scribing
3 tormodīs crypt
1 Moments Peace
3 Wall of Roots
3 Trick Bind
4 Krosan Grip
While playing this deck, I really worry about goblins now. I played Rg Goblin/Fecundity deck and was about -23 life before I could play a 4th land. Hence, the 1 Moments Peace and 3 wall of roots in the sb. All you need to do is stall because gaining control early midgame is pretty easy. The Sky Scribing is for the life decks and what not. Everything else is selfexplanitory.
I highly reccommend you try Petals of Insight in your deck. It becomes a very powerful card quickly.
26 land is way overboard and I feel that 1 Ruins is not enough. You will rarely suffer 2 ruins early game and the card is too good in this deck on only run 1. Keeping a land cycler in the deck (which you seem to have cut) allows you to run less land also.
This is still a tentative build and it is constantly changing but hopefully it will offer you ideas and what not. |

| i think the idea behind one dark depths and one academy ruins is you can get them with sylvan scrying and reap and sow so i really don't see why you need two... |

stucco:
how exactly will having a wall of roots out turn 2 stop dirty kitty from grapeshotting you out or attacking with 10 creatures when you can only block 1?
Terrible answer for goblins, try again. |

I've been toying with the deck. I haven't done real well with my list as of late so I won't be posting it. Though some things that have worked well are as follows:
Nullstone Gargoyle (funny, except it hits you too)
Solemn Simulacrum
Decree of Justice (brutally good)
Wurmcalling is awful though. |

How is this deck in any way superior to TNN?
The correct answer is it is not. |

| the cloudpost + vesuva combo is the only interesting thing about the deck really, its just something u can add to your mana base if you got something to spend the mana on. It takes some less cards then Tron and may be a little more efficient. The only problem ofc is that its a quite the tempo loss without a cloudpost early. So i think its an interesting addition instead of tron to decks who have some way to get non basic lands or a decent amount of draw. Searching for it requires green though it seems and that together will make the deck a little too slow i think so it wont have that good uses |

wow, so much hate, it really is a good deck. seriously, i've lost 2 matches with my build. (yes it even pawns goblins) i can usually win turn 6 with a mediocure hand, let alone a good one. one of the tricks is to keep the tuskers becasue, omg, you can play them! and wurmcalling is insane, also i went to 4 mindslavers, oblivion stones, and moments peace main, which REALLY smooths the decks game plan out. oh, for the board i just put in the parts needed for TNN of all the cards in the deck, i found the worst 2 where the dark depths, and the spellbursts. |

Just play TnN. It's much better than this budget crap deck.
Although TnN is pretty much crap in extended as well.
Second thought - scrap both decks and just play something good. |
