i have router and i have access to its setup
i can't host games in appretice
how can i fix this problem? |

what you want to do is set up your router to forward port 4747. www.portforward.com can help you do that. We also have a guide http://www.magic-league.com/guide/router.php but i think it might be a bit outdated.
Configuring your router to forward should take 10-20 minutes + another hour or so in troubleshooting |

| you know.. that's funny. because i have already forwarded port 4747 on my router. and i still display a 192.168.*.* router address and can't host. so i don't think port forwarding alone is going to fix this. |

With a router, apprentice will never tell you your external IP because the only IP it knows is the internal one. Go to a site like www.whatismyip.com or type "//say $ip" in mIRC to find out your external IP. |
