Hamachi questions

I go to college and I think my network blocks me from logging onto chat/play rooms. I downloaded Hamachi but it doesn't replace my 0.0.0.0 network adress. I was just wondering if anyone has/has had this problem, if it's normal, or how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

as long as both people have hamachi, and you just connect to the others guys hamachi server or w/e then you should be fine
