Alright, I know I'm going to catch a lot of flak for posting a fanwork like this. I'm prepared for it.
We've recently finished construction and playtesting of an extremely large set based on Final Fantasy 7. All of the characters and creatures make appearances, as well as many of the places in the game. WoTC is out of ideas....
Back to the subject at hand. Awesome set, great broken cards. Sephiroth could have been made more powerful however, should have been able to use all color abilities or something as in the game  |

it says it can be used for appr, but obv can't at all

| fire materia should be reworded. instead of the whole 'when you use this ability tap equipped creature' just say 'equipped creature gains R,tap: deal 1 damage to target non-red creature etc.' |

Alright, just to clarify a few things.
All Materia have no equip cost.
The colors were chosen more for thematic reasons than anything else. Most of the cards do still fit the basic ability themes though.
Yes, Sephy could be worse. And is. Make yourself a clone deck and see. 
Golden Saucer IS a legendary, remember, so only one can be out, ever. There are plenty of land destruction options to take care of that sort of thing.
I know more than a few of you won't pay attention to this last bit, but the set was intended for standalone play. It's best that way, and a lot of fun. Future sets will be balanced against this one.
