|
|
| I have a question about playings ninjas. Let's say that I play a Thalakos Dreamsower enchanted with Spirit Link. At my next turn let's assume the Dreamsower goes unblocked and because I have the untapped mana I pay Ninja Of The Deep Hour's ninjutsu cost. If I've read the Q&A session on WotC's website correctly, their attitude is that the Dreamsower was always the Ninja, my opponent just didn't know it. If this is so, Spirit Link would stay on the table to enchant the Ninja, right? |

| no, its not enchanteing the ninja, its enchanting something else, think of it as bouncing a creature back to your hand |

| Okay, thanks for clearing that up. Makes my deck a lot nastier than it would otherwise be. |

that was just the flavor for the mechanic, it has no effect on the game play |

| Fyrwolf, the Spirit Link goes to the graveyard. The other poster said that the Spirit Link does not return to your hand, but he failed to mention that it goes to the graveyard. I think you thought he was saying it stayed in play. It doesn't. |

Okay, thanks again. So basically I have to play Link right after I use the ninjutsu? Or do I have to wait until the next turn? |

| You can play it in the post combat phase. but you won't gain life 'til the next time you attack with it. |

| Geez. No. Whenever a creature is returned to your hand, no matter the reason, unless it is otherwise stated like in mark of eviction all enchantments on that creature will go to the graveyard. They will absolutely not transfer over to the creature that was ninjaed in for it. |
