I just played some guy, and he said that he can use Threaten on an untapped creature, and that he knows it sounds wrong, but it's right.
Looking for confirmation or contradiction.
Is he right? |

| Yes he is. The creature being tapped is not a targeting restriction, the reason that line is on there is just in case the creature is tapped. If you couldn't play it on an untapped creature it would say "Untap target tapped creature and gain control of it" |

| He is right. Threaten says nothing about the target being tapped, you just get to untap it if it is. |
