| Ok I need other people's ruling on this and not just my own. I had an argument over whether you have to pay the mana cost for PW if you play him from your library. I said that you do because the card does not say "Without paying its mana cost" the other guy said you didn't because it's be quote "Stupid and hard to do". So who's exactly right, me who says you need to pay the mana or the other guy who says you don't? |

Yes you do have to pay Panglacial Wurm's mana cost whenever searching your library.
(It could be pretty cool in Tooth and Nail though) |

| You are indeed correct; it does not say "without paying its mana cost", therefore you do in fact have to pay its mana cost. Its in the CS FAQ for judges, I think, if you need a printout. |

| If you could do it without paying the mana cost, that card would be in every single deck. |

Turn 1 Mystical Tutor, Lay of the Land, etc. Oh sweet, I'm putting four 9/5's into play.
Turn 2 Sakura-Tribe Elder, you're insane, four 9/5's for free on turn 2.
So uh... does that sound like the intent of the card? |
