| Whenever you get your email back saying what happened in the judges test, I think you should get to know what questions you got wrong and why. What do you guys think? |

| This is a generally bad idea because if people start to learn what they got wrong and why, they could spread the information to other people to use as a cheat sheet for the test. Thus, by only giving a score, we put a check on cheating that way by allowing you to guess on which questions you actually got right/wrong. |

| I understand your frustration, considering that there are few ways to learn the rules and how they apply in these specific cases. But this movement didn't work when I tried it, and it probably won't work now. You just have to be patient and keep trying. |

Few ways to learn? Saturday school has over three and a half years of archives on rules. Starcitygames.com has the ask a judge article series that help to learn a lot about the rules (especially feature fridays). Just playing a lot and reading the cards can help. #judges4you is a resource, use us as a way to learn the rules as well. If you dont understand something, ask why it works that way.
Few ways to learn. Hhmph. |

the comment about #j4u being a good resource for learning the rules is kinda a false statement. If you have a question, sure you can go in and ask, regardless if its a mini, trial or just casual play. But idleing in there is not allowed and i perfectly understand that. So there for you don't get to see all the question that get asked, which, for all you know, a certian situation may show up on a test.
My suggestion is this, offering certian people who show potential in beocmming judges the opertunity to get temporary rights to STAY in #j4u during tournys, mini's and trials. This will give them the chance tos ee how things work and situations they may not see on their own.
Of course this would not be a freely given out ability but one given byt application and approval by the J3's.
IDK just an ide ya know...... |
