Land
4 Karplusan Forest
4 Stomping Ground
10 Forest
6 Mountain
Creatures
4 Burning-Tree Shaman
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Blastoderm
2 Stampeding Serow
1 Masticore
4 Birds of Paradise
Spells
4 Fires of Yavimaya
4 Assault/Battery
1 Shatterstorm
2 Burning Wish
2 Living Wish
1 Naturalize
2 Saproling Burst
1 Phyrexian Processor
Sideboard:
SB: 1 Masticore
SB: 2 Shatterstorm
SB: 3 Naturalize
SB: 1 Tower of the Magistrate
SB: 1 Infested Roothold
SB: 1 Gaea's Herald
SB: 2 Privileged Position
SB: 4 Defense Grid
Basically its an updated kind of Fires of Yavimaya deck using one of the better Gruul cards, in my opinion at least, the Burning-Tree Shamans. It's fun to use the Serow to never lose your Blastoderms, at least I think it works, as it doesn't say target, it says "a".
Any help as to making this more viable would be great. I know Ichorid is a big wall infront of most Rogue builds having any say once or ever so maybe some advice on that match-up.
Thanks everyone,
Cy |

| It may actually work. The gruul cards fill a lot of the holes left by masques block rotating out. There's nothing to make up for the "I win" value of Saproling Burst though. |

| What other stuff would anyone suggest putting in for all the rotated out cards? |

Here's a sample list:
4 Birds of Pardise
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Fires of Yavimaya
4 Call of the Herd/Burning-Tree Shaman
4 Phantom Centaur
3 Rumbling Slum/Ravenous Baloth/Jade Leech
4 Char
3 Iwamori of the Open Fist
1 Two-Headed Dragon
4 Firebolt
2 Shivan Wurm
4 Karplusan Forest
4 Wooded Foothills
1 Stomping Ground
8 Forest
5 Mountain
1 Keldon Necropolis
card choices:
I think Phantom Centaur is the best 5 power for 4 guy, I'd probably go with Shaman over CotH, I like Iwamori a lot in extended, Char fits the whole "all my cards take a large portion of your life" theme, and Shivan Wurm is probably bad but a card I like (could be Siege-Gang among infinite other options to try to replace the irreplacable Burst). I think the manabase is sufficiently good without running 4 Stomping Grounds, which I think will just unnecessarily shock you. |

| whoa, i really like that witness idea. Especially with Herd. And it would give me a reason to use the Serows again. Thanks |

No one has played ext with me and its a bummer. There is a big ext groud on this other magic program but it uses a collection system where you win money by playing games and buy cards to play with, no real money involved, fun system. Anyway, I'm working on building the deck there to play with.
Oh and I changed my user name. Its still me.

| are you talking about magic online? cuz some of the cards in ur list don't exist on modo, and the invasion cards are extremely hard to get. |
