2 [DIS] Prahv, Spires of Order - Invoke the firemind in hearbeat decks

2 [RAV] Vitu-Ghazi, the City-Tree - replacable blockers and (semi)W/C(Win Condition) v/ agro

2 [DIS] Windreaver - Win Condition, nigh impossible to remove, good blocker

4 [RAV] Loxodon Hierarch - help w/ agro match, possible W/C

4 [CHK] Sakura-Tribe Elder - helps in agro matchup and magnivore/wildfire matchup, possible W/c (j/k)

3 [DIS] Simic Sky Swallower - W/c, Hard to remove, good blocker

2 [DIS] Overrule - One of a few questionable picks, Can reset life total, Counter, Mana drain

2 [DIS] Supply/Demand - Another questionable pick, Possible win condition, Fetches Windreaver/Simic Sky Swallower/Loxodon Hierarch /Overrule in a pinch, Good blockers

4 [9E] Wrath of God - Excellent against agro, Clears opposing Simic Sky Swallower

2 [RAV] Seed Spark - Excellent swiss army knife type card handles Jitte/P. Arena/Faiths fetters/Blood moon

// Sideboard
3 [9E] Circle of Protection: Black - Good against Husk/B/w Agro
4 [GP] Giant Solifuge - Excellent in control/combo matchup
1 [9E] Swamp (2)
4 [CHK] Cranial Extraction - Good against the decks weakness heartbeat
3 [RAV] Selesnya Guildmage - Filler / Puts pressure on control decks

I tested a similar build before switching over to UW control. It won't be as consistent against aggro, and you're likely not to utilize Vitu-Ghazi in those matchups as you're on the defensive and playing answers most of the game. However, you have more threats and therefore a slight advantage in the control mirror.

My only recommendation is consider Voidslime, if you have some, with Overrule in SB to come in against Heartbeat. Farseeks also aren't in your best interest. You certainly don't want to drop your pants on turn 2 when you could be countering instead. Beyond turn 4 Farseek's impact is lessened.

Other than that, it should do ok.

The main reason farseek is in the deck is to accelerate into wrath / fetch the mana for it.Double white, While there are 12 white sources in this deck, can still be hard to come by.Since There are 8 copies of 4 CC agro haters and only 7 counters (9 if you count overrule), I am more likely to have an agro Smile than a counter.Plus w/ wrath i make up the card advantage when i net 2+ for 1. Also hierarch turn 3 can be a beast.

The main reason that i chose overrule over voidslime is that While voidslime is a hard counter and can say no to anything, Overrule still has the Stream of life effect while saying no to a giant solifuge or burn spell that would otherwise spell death.

As far as Voidslime is concerned, It probably should be included into the sideboard as an additional hard counter v/ Magnivore/heartbeat.

voidslime is still better than overrule, inspecially in your deck, overrule is well... overrated by some
