ok so, I was looking at cool cards and things like Hellbent when I got an idea....why don't I use Hellbent!?
Not quite as in all Hellbent cards preferably only 2 in fact.
Jagged Poppet and Anthem of Rakdos

Now think of it....Jagged Poppet is a 3/4 that causes you to discard your hand away...
Anthem is a booster that adds 2 and doubles when you have no hand....

lets see....with both out and no hand..your dealing 10 damage and their discarding 10 cards a turn. Now thats what I call yay.

Other Cards that are just...well...neat:

Souls of the Faultless - A blocker that makes as a nice life sucker as well...

Avatar of Discord - RRR or BBB - a 5/3 kickass flier.

Peace of Mind - Trade those cards for life.

Sideboard:

Pain Magnification - This is just fun.

Heres the deck:

//NAME: BR Sligh
// Land
1 Plains
1 Mountain
2 Swamp
4 Tendo Ice Bridge
4 Godless Shrine
4 Sacred Foundry
4 Blood Crypt

// Creature
3 Avatar of Discord
3 Souls of the Faultless
4 Jagged Poppet

// Other Spells
4 Sensei's Divining Top
3 Phyrexian Arena
4 Wrath of God
3 Flames of the Blood Hand
3 Mortify
3 Peace of Mind
4 Lightning Helix
3 Char
3 Anthem of Rakdos

// Sideboard
SB: 3 Sacred Ground
SB: 3 Pithing Needle
SB: 3 Terashi's Grasp
SB: 3 Reverence
SB: 3 Pain Magnification

Comments?
Suggestions?
Flames?
etc?

Sorry, Craze, but hellbent decks just don't work. Mechanics based around card disadvantage suck. Besides that, the deck is completely confused about what it wants to do and looks like it has an auto-loss against Heartbeat.

Arena kinda takes care of card disadvantage kinda like the Grafted Skullcap + Ensnaring Bridge method used ages ago.
Plus when your deck is burn? Yea, it can survive an empty hand...definitly if Anthem of Rakdos is out.

I don't see how you get that...
The deck has mulitple win styles...
A) Get a huge Poppet or Souls and beat them dead
B) Cut their hand to shreads and kill them however
C) Burn them dead

Also, nobody heartbeat unless they are forced to by gunpoint.

Craze, I'm not down with your approach. When you are playing with a maximum of 2 cards in hand every turn, control has the opportunity to screw you up. After testing my Rakdos deck for the last three weeks, I've discovered Delirium Skeins (and Rix Maadi to a lesser extent) are very beneficial. Think of it this way: You want to drop into Hellbent range at will, which immediately puts you at a disadvantage. Why not take your opponent down with you? This way you at least cause them alot of hurt.

Also, Rakdos Pit Dragon is a beast. Since your deck doesn't have a quick aggro feel, he can only benefit you as a fantastic kill condition.

the deck might win some games but
1) souls of the faultless is not competitive
2) poppet and avatar are great with no disruption, which is never gonna happen
3) most of the deck is just jank, 4 SDT?! pain magnification?! reverence ?!

this is by no means sligh. Sligh is mostly creatures and for god's sake you have a WALL on your team. You also run complete jank like Peace of MInd.

Delirium Skeins is horrible and Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace is that good either...

You can't really bring down aggro by emptying their hand, which is why I sb Pain Magnification...
And as for bringing them down with me, its true I have to discard first but at the same time I start throwing punches they find themselves losing even more cards then me from Poppet.

Rakdos Pit Dragon really is a beast huh? Yea I'll test him...

1. I say the same thing about Simic Sky Swallower, but you seem to like him in Critical Mass.
Souls of the faultless kinda reminds me of Drift of Phantasms, not that many actually used that card during the course that it was ever useful. In reality this deck isn't very fast as pointed out by Stucco. And why souls is three mana, it makes both a early defender and a small Consume Spirit. Which brings me to the fact that it can be used competitively and just because it can't win a game doesn't mean it can't help.

2. Disruption as in counters? No, you mean discard!!!
Well quite the oppisite, Poppet works extremely well with disruption. Avatar is kinda depending on me having cards, but if I remember right, I said earlier that Arena seems to keep me swimming in at least 2 cards a turn..

3.
a. Your right what was I thinking using Reverence when their are a whole bunch of WWs running around, silly me.
b. I could show you a neat trick with 4 Tops, but because its rare to get 4 or even 3, I did cut 1.
c. Pain Magnification is very good against control, which seems to be played alot in ML.

Notes:
Rakdos Signet - Good or bad? hmmm maybe not

I agree. Hymn to Tourach never had much of an effect, either.

Wow I find the irony of this hilarious. Is this a joke seriously, I mean was this list posted by the same Craze best know for calling other peoples decks crappy?
Oh my God this deck is so unbelievably bad I don't even know where to start I mean wow what a train wreck... Gotta love a Sligh deck that runs a playset of Wrath of Gods. Nothing like the synergy of playing a couple creatures, an anthem of Radkos, emptying your hand then topdecking a Wrath I mean wow. I mean Anthem seriously? Nothing I like more then dropping a 3 casting cost wall then a 5CC Enchantment in a sligh deck. Good thing you splashed White otherwise you might actually win a few games off your opponent getting mana screwed. The only thing funnier then the look on your opponents face when you drop and Avatar of Discord then next turn Souls of the Faultless is when you Drop Jagged Poppet and it gets Charred. Dag yo this is the worst deck I've seen on these forums in a savage amount of time and thats saying something.
