Just a random format me and a friend thought up through hours of opening a box. First, for those who don't know, mini-master is a style of playing where both players open a pack without looking at the cards, put in 2 land of every colour(2 forests, 2 mountains, 2 islands etc...) Shuffle the decks, and play, like a normal game of magic except with 15 life, and you don't lose from milling.
When doing it with opening packs we agreed to no mulliganing, but this isn't used in constructed minimaster.

Anyways, how this format works is.....
Both players choose to play one of 3 ways:
1)t2, t1, extended, legacy, whatever.
2)block(RGD, CBS, IPA, MDF)
3)Set(dissension, 9th, coldsnap)

Making a 15 card deck from the chosen type that HAS to include:
1 rare
3 uncommons
11 commons
And
2 forests
2 mountain
2 island
2 plains
2 swamp

For example(bad example, just throwing cards together)
Glare of subdual
ribbons of the night
putrefy
mark of eviction
snapping drake
dimir house guard
skynight legionnaire
peel from reality
veldalkan dismisser
farseek
flight of fancy
compulsive research
last gasp
galvanic arc
transluminant
tattered drake
viashino fangtail

RULES
no mill cards(glimpse, dimir machinations, entrancer)
in other words, cards that say 'put x cards in graveyard'

must have 2 of every land(can't have 2 color or whatever).

Where I come from, this is called "Pack Wars".. But regardless of the name, its a fun format. In chaos mode in APP. you can also do this, w/ bring your own sealed, and not look at the cards (if you can help it). I don't think its a viable mini format, though fun nonetheless.
