diversity is overrated, especially in a non-toolbox deck.

find out what's good and run 4, cut the dross

This deck is very clunky and slow. It's UW Weenie. You need to keep casting creatures and beating down your opponent. Here's my list, though I think it still needs some work. I might try running some counters to deal with WoG, etc. Maybe sideboard.

// Lands
7 [RAV] Island (1)
9 [RAV] Plains (1)
4 [DIS] Hallowed Fountain
4 [9E] Adarkar Wastes

// Creatures
4 [CHK] Lantern Kami
4 [9E] Suntail Hawk
4 [DIS] Pride of the Clouds
4 [9E] Leonin Skyhunter
4 [DIS] Azorius First-Wing
2 [CHK] Meloku the Clouded Mirror
3 [BOK] Kira, Great Glass-Spinner
4 [DIS] Azorius Herald

// Spells
4 [9E] Glorious Anthem
3 [SOK] Charge Across the Araba

// Sideboard
SB: 4 [9E] Paladin en-Vec
SB: 4 [SOK] Pithing Needle
SB: 3 [9E] Circle of Protection: Red
SB: 4 [BOK] Umezawa's Jitte

My list's a bit more defined. His list is like... well pretty much all over the place.

You need to decide a strategy and stick with it. If you want to make a Weenie deck then you need to have weenies. GAAVII isn't a weenie. Neither is Windreaver. They're way too high for the mana curve of a Weenie deck. Twilight Drover is pretty useless in the deck. Thunderheads is just bad. The Signets aren't needed in a deck like this... they tend to slow it down by wasting a turn rather than speed up your win. Drift is useless for winning. Genju is too "control-y". Dovescape is nice, but too high for the curve. WoG is completely counter-productive as it kills the creatures that you rely on to win. The Azorius Chancery slows you down a turn. I ran Herald for awhile then cut it because it's not a flyer so it doesn't help Pride of the Clouds, but it's WU's equivalent to Hierarch and I ended up running it again. Charge is a finisher and Glorious Anthem helps you win faster and stops Pyroclasm from wrecking you. Kira stops those nasty burn and remove decks and Meloku is another finisher. Paladin en-Vec shuts down Rakdos and puts a damper on Magnivore, as does CoP: Red. Pithing Needle hurts Heartbeat as well as countless other decks. Jitte kills Jitte and helps you if they don't get theirs first. However, WoG, Wildfire, double Pyroclasm... just about any mass removal really hurts this deck. That's why I'm thinking of adding either Ghostway or some counters to at least the SB. If I go with counters they might go maindeck but this deck really needs to deal with that problem if it wants to stand any chance at winning.

I aprreciate the insightful comments Alandariel, but why is it most decks that are "starting out" must be bashed to hell and back ... the reason I put this on here is because of people like Alandariel who are willing to HELP instead of giving no insightful input whatsoever. So in retrospect, I have pretty much made the deck a xerox of that deck, other than the fact that I like Dovescape too much, yes it harms the "groove" but I think it can also be a complete deck thrasher, especially in this deck now that it doesn't hold that many "noncreature spells", plus, at the end, it only helps out Pride, soooo.... I don't see the problem with having one or two in here, just trying to figure out what to remove, lol.

EDIT: I also put WoG in my original deck to combat WW decks that also run it, and can cast 3 creatures that turn ... it works .. in the sideboard ... why I put that in the MD I have no clue.

Those are the most random remands ive EVER seen.

I reckon White skies should run 8 slots for the folowing cards; shining shoal, remand, mana leak, kira, halcyon glaze. These cards 'protect' you from hate.

The deck should run 22 lands.

4 mistral charger, 4 azorius first wing, 8 suntail hawk and 4 pride are no-brainers. the last 10 slots are pretty much meta slots; glorious anthem, jitte, ninja of the deep hours, pithing needle, paladin en vec.

skies is BAD i was one of the people sayingit was going to be great but it truthfully isnt i tested it and its just to slow of a weenie deck but U/W weenie is going to be good its alot faster and still has counters and condemn and plays what i think to be the best guildmage ever.
