Anyone remember the Unhinged Release Tournies? I have a good story.
It was mid 3rd round and there was a large turnout, about 80 some people. I had tried to do it twice already but it didnt work out... here's the tale:
I have 9 mana in my pool and play booster tutor buying a Torment pack. I open the pack and hope to see what I want... I do. I take the rare Radiate and celebrate. I call a judge over to put a hold on the tournament. I play Ass Whupin and Radiate it targeting ever card in the room. Man I was so happy with myself I could just die.
Booster Tutor B
Instant
Open a sealed Magic booster pack, reveal the cards, and put one of those cards into your hand.
Radiate 3RR
Instant
Choose target instant or sorcery spell that targets only a single permanent or player.
For each other permanent or player that spell could target, put a copy of the spell onto the stack.
Each copy targets a different one of those permanents and players.
Ass Whupin' 1BW
Destroy target silver-bordered permanent in any game you can see from your seat |

| this happened on a slightly smaller scale but hilerious nonetheless, i was at the prerelease and my friend was playing beside me, he was staring down a bingo an i was so far down i couldnt win even wiht unhinged, anyhow on the turn that the bingo attacked for the win my friends oppoenent declared attackers and i play my ass wooping in response, happy times |
