any suggestions for a name for this deck or for the deck itself would be nice. sb is under construction.

//NAME: GWB creature killer
3 Plains
3 Swamp
4 Forest
4 Overgrown Tomb
4 Temple Garden
4 Godless Shrine
3 Birds of Paradise
4 Silhana Ledgewalker
4 Last Gasp
4 Shrieking Grotesque
4 Mortify
3 Putrefy
4 Moldervine Cloak
4 Loxodon Hierarch
4 Faith's Fetters
4 Castigate
SB: 1 Putrefy
SB: 2 Grave-Shell Scarab
SB: 4 Leyline of the Void
SB: 4 Order of the Stars
SB: 4 Rolling Spoil

as far as sb goes, grave shell might go md. i'm still deciding, that's why he's there. putrefy is there b/c i could think of nothing else. leylines are for dregde oriented decks. order is to slow down boros decks ( i really coulsd have used them last mini) Sad. spoil is for use against gazi-glare and other silhanas and giant solifuge.

this is a draw first kind of deck. take a few dmg, let them run out some hand, then start blowing imporetant stuff up. gain some life and win in the late game. the one thing it is lacking is card draw. any ideas on that would be great. bottled cloister was tested and screwed me more often than it helped. moonlight bargain just seems overpriced. i plan on playtesting bloodletter quill. hopes aren't too high for the quill but i'll see how it goes. another note, i playtested guildlands but they seemed to slow down my curve. I'd find myself needing a particular color and not getting it till the next turn. plus my curve tops out at 4, so late game mana not a huge issue.

one more thing. what kind of decks are out there? what do i need to sb for the most?

thanks - ColdBeer

you my friend are an idiot. ledgewalker wins more games than any other card in the deck
it is untargetable. with all my removal, it's virtually unblockable. it fits the curve. there is no better card for this deck in that slot period.

sorry but i am very partial to that card. it wins games.

Ledgewalker is only good when you run 4 jitte and 4 cloak otherwise it's kinda useless.... with a cloak its good but its not that easy to get that combination.

You have lots of removal but limited creatures which isnt good.

Get rid of fetters, silhana, cloak, mortify or putrefy

And add a bird, 4 elves of deep shadow, 4 hypie, 2 ink eyes, scarab..... Basically you should make it more of a GWB Rock type deck

ledgewalker requires more pumps, and its not like they loose a removal, they just blow up something else, leaving you with a 1/1. the deck will do well, but not great

on a casual-deck advice front tho, grave shell is very very good and should be MD, maybe dark confidant as well

ive always wanted to call a 3 colour WB_ deck the good the bad and the ugly Very Happy

I think, with the decks that are on fire this season, that silhana ledgewalker is good, but dryad sophisticate is even better...

I took a liking to one of the names given to a version running maindeck Rolling Spoils and sideboard Caustic Rains. I believe it was George W Bush. Smile

Ledgewalker is only good if you can always sack into turn 2 ledgewalker turn 3 cloak. The only way I see you consistently swinging with a cloaked ledgewalker is with ridiculous abuse of the dredge mechanic, so I wouldn't reccomend it for this deck. I'd reccomend Carven Caryatid, however, as one of the top creature for your deck and for the format.

One of the specific forms of card draw I saw used against me today on mtgo was Caryatid/Wayfinder combined with Ghostway. End of turn draw 2+ cards isn't too bad, but it counters the ridiculous "fy" cards of the format.
