Very Happy

Also I think gelectrode could effectively be goblin sharp shooter in the right deck, in this one its just handy sideboard tech.

I am fascinated by the Izzet Charm. Usually I have found Electrolyze to be a better fit main? I also drop 1 remand for a second cryptic command.

Have you considered 1 Niveous Wisps? I find this card to be so strong with Snapcaster. It also increases our ability to sneak wins via burn and small attacks. Please consider!

Hi Izzet charm, is there, as I think combo is well positioned in the modern meta. I have a great deal of respect for most the combo decks in this format they are all very powerful, the deck is designed with an aggro combo meta in mind. Izzet charm has applications against all these decks whilst electrolyze does not.

I like the versatility of izzet charm (http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/what-ai-teaches-us-about-magic/) and cheaper casting cost modern is so fast. If the meta becomes full of lingering souls again then electrolyze would once again become an option. The ability to kill small creatures and counter non creature spells at a low cost, both feel highly relevant in modern. Occasionally the dig option can help with flood and so forth

I have added a second cryptic already, as it was performing so strongly. I cut all the young pyromancer,s as reflection upon testing indicated they were ineffective. I added a colonade, cryptic, restoration angel and second izzet charm.

I agree on remand being weak in a format with so many low cc spells, but there are some decks its really strong against and i keep two for these decks. It works well with meddling mage also, which is performing well, I found it had applications I had never considered before, with burn players suspending turn 1 rift bolts, or valukault players suspending search for tomorrows.

Niveous Wisp is my sort of card, I will keep it in mind if slots open up in the main deck.

Nice additions Greenbear!
I think the Restoration Angel is perfect in UWR control given the speed of the meta these days. please post if you make any more changes. All the best!

Hi, I 5-0 a league the day of the effective banning's on magic online. I cut 2 remand, 1 electrolyze, 1 lightning helix for 4 ancestral visions. You can find the list on wizzrds site

Beat merfolk 2-0, 4cc control 2-1, UWR control 2-0, Burn with nactal 2-0, Jund 2-0.

I was sitting in the 1850's constructed rating for magic on line at that point. However after that my results have rapidly deteriorated and I'm waiting till a clear meta is more established before picking up the deck again.

Hey I'm back on the deck again and enjoying reasonable success. I 5-0 another league beating merfolk, goblins, infect, jund, elves (nice to get all good match ups for once. And just went 4-1 beating goryos vengance, ubr control with delver, jund and gbw chord and losing to UW gifts tron awesome deck but to many decks it can never beat.

I changed the list again, i cut the ancestral visions as they are a little slow for the format. I also cut the meddling mages the decks they are good against are just not showing up on modo. I replaced them with 2 shackles, as it doubles as a win condition and a way of dealing with threats. Decay and command are a problem but not many decks play them, jund is the only one i would consider a major player who plays them. I also changed the mana base to make shackles better.

I've seen the nahiri versions obviously, I just prefer grinding out games to the big emrakul win. My build I feel allows you to switch between aggressive and defensive depending on the match up and situation better than that deck, which suits my play style more.

I've qualified for the MOCS mostly by playing a mixture of flashback drafts and modern, might record some of the games depending on timing. Intend to play the next modern MOCS with a list something like the one below.

4 Lightning Bolt
4 Path to Exile
2 Spell Snare
3 Mana Leak
2 Remand
4 Snapcaster Mage
4 Lightning Helix
2 Izzet Charm
2 Geist St Taraft
2 Vendillion Clique
2 Vedalken Shackles
1 Electrolyze
2 Cryptic Command
1 Restoration Angel

4 Celestial Colonade
4 Flooded Strand
4 Scalding Tarn
2 Arid Mesa
4 Steam Vents
2 Hallowed Fountain
1 Sacred Foundry
2 Island
1 Plains
1 Mountain

Sources 22 blue, 18 white, 16 red (25 land total)

Sideboard

2 Rule of Law (Living End, Ad naseum, Storm, eggs)
2 Wear Tear (Affinity, boggles lantern, storm, infect some blood moon decks, mono white enchant, vial, bitterblossom, lantern)
2 Engineered Explosives (Goblins, affinity, aggro, tokens, infect, merfolk, lantern)
1 Negate (Living End, Goryo Vengance, Control, Storm, Eggs)
general)
1 Meloku, the clouded mirror (jund, merfolk, tokens, control, decks with out removal, that are slow)
1 Supreme Verdict (Goblins, Merfolk, Boggles, Infect, junk)
1 Izzet Staticaster (infect, affinity, tokens, chord, goblins)
1 Ancestral Visions (control)
1 Crumble to Dust (Tron, control where man lands are key)
1 Tectonic Edge (decks with ability lands like, ravine, boseju, colonade so on)
1 Relic of the Progentius (living end, vengance, snapcaster based decks, storm, eggs)
1 Spellskite (burn, infect, boggles, affinity )

Another 5-0 today testing is going well and I'm feeling more optimistic about the tournament.

r1 (2-1 vs living end)
r2 (2-1 vs rg tron)
r3 (2-1 vs rg tron same guy)
r4 (2-0 vs infect)
r5 (2-1 vs ubr delver)

Don't ask me how I beat so many bad match ups, it was the same tron player twice which i think was a bit poor. He must have been annoyed losing to one of his few good match ups 2-1 both times.
