Depends where your playgroup draws the line on gayness / douchebaggy cards.

UB is a really strong color combination.

Cards that immidiatly come to mind:
Rhystic Studies
Yawgmoths Will
Living Death with Entomb / Buried Alive Package
A ton of tutors
Blatant Thievery
Dire Undercurrents / Oona
Spinal Embrace / Twisted Justice
Corpse Dance / Clone / Fleshbag Marauder etc.

Dont play Time Stretch! Razz

Yeah, but isn't a deck with Lorthos as the Commander, limited to blue as its color?

You'd have to choose another Legend like, say, Dralnu or something.

Ah nevermind, i thought about Wrexial, not Lorthos. The other recently printed deepsea General =D

Sorry!

well, beyond "gayness" factor, Lorthos would be a nice general in a sort of "Pirates" deck. Where you mess with people's mana, but those decks aren't really successful in multiplayer.
