Hello, a friend who is learning the game and I were arguing over these 2 points. I do believe I am correct about both points, though he wants to see proof before believing me. Please help, as while I'm pretty sure about these, I'd like to know if I'm wrong about either:
1. In all in red, can one pitch a SSG to imprint on a chrome mox and also have it count for the red mana? I imagine you'd have to pick one or the other, right?
2. If one plays prismatic omen and then a card with sunburst, a single mana from a tapped land doesnt, therefore, count for all 5 colors correct? I told me friend you'd have to choose one of the 5 colors and that you can't have a single mana be multi-colored. Is this correct?
Thanks in advance. His argument is passionate so I wanted some backing. |

1. either exile it for its ability or for the imprint of Chrome Mox
2. You're right, he choses W,R,U,G or B. |

Yes, you could only choose one or the other, if you chose to exile Simian Spirit Guide for one red using it's ability; it is no longer available in your hand to imprint.
2. If one plays prismatic omen and then a card with sunburst, a single mana from a tapped land doesnt, therefore, count for all 5 colors correct? I told me friend you'd have to choose one of the 5 colors and that you can't have a single mana be multi-colored. Is this correct?
You can tap that single land for only one mana, no matter how many colors it can tap for, it only produces one color. Therefore the single mana would be one color of his choice. |

| Thanks guys. I never really had any doubt about either, but my friend required "proof." This should be sufficient |
