Feedback appreciated.

...you really lucked out 3rd pack. relatively good draft for being inexperienced i guess....Quietus Spike is really good in an aggressive deck tho...

Pack 3 - Pick 4, I would have got the Steward of Valeron. That guy is amazing, and you are UGW so why not? You took a panorama over that, doesn't seem like the right choice.

Also, how bad is your computer that you can't play MTG online? It must be terrible.

this time you did a bit better, but I still think you don't understand this format properly, and you just encourage flaming....

This time though I'm willing to give proper feedback :S

p1p1
My pick is Quietus spike, because it's really good in the aggressive bant and grixis decks. Your pick is defensible if you are keen to force white, but not really anywhere else, as spike is a VERY powerful card that is pretty hard to remove.

p1p2
It's between Jungle Weaver and Spray, I'd actually probablly lean towards weaver given your first pick, but spray is perfectly fine.

p1p4
The pick here is clearly the bant Seaside Citadel. You seem to be drafting an aggressive deck, where Obelisks are less than optimal and drafting too many panorama's means you'r'e going to lose. As a result, the cipt uncommon lands, especially those that might share 3 colours, should be VERY high picks. Excommunicate iss going to be at best a 20-23rd card.

p1p6
Nothing wrong with taking the Drum Hunter here, it's good even in a bant deck.

p1p7
Are you so keen to force bant that the steward is never even a consideration?

p1p9
Plowbeast vs Naturalize is pretty close. I'd take the card I'm more happy to play main deck.

p1p10
Having taken Plowbeast previous pick, I'd take capsule here, I think your pick is fine, although you're unlikely to play it.

p1p11
NO. Benediction is one of the best cards in the aggressive exalted deck. It makes racing and chumping difficult. Outrider is just another easy to remove, clunky late game creature with exalted.

p2p2
Fatestitcher over Bant Charm imo, I wouldn't criticize you if you took ranger either from this pack, it's very strong for you.

p2p3
You like Excommunicate a lot for some reason. Guardians is generally better for the bant deck because it blocks really well and is immune to most removal spells.

p2p9
Screecher is obivously the pick here. It has evasion, and you are playing an exalted deck. However, let's assume you just missed it... and compare thoctar to cancel, which are the next best cards.

If your deck was better, I would say cancel, because it stops your exalted army dieing to mass removal spells and is great if they try to remove your attacker ir to triggers. That said, it's not looking so good at the moment, so thoctar is a good pick here. Connoisseur should NOT be this late.

p2p11
How lucky...

p3p2
Topan Ascetic is, to put it simply, the best card you can hope to open for the Bant deck which isn't a rare (and it's comparable in power level to Rafiq imo (but below Battlegrace Angel and Sigil). Not only does it double up your exalted, but it's a great blocker, which the deck often lacks. It's also much easier to play than war monk. You shouldn't pass bombs for fixing imo.

p3p3
No love for rhox charger? Or are you determined to go 3 colours solidly with 1 mediocre fixer.

p3p7
Seems late....

p3p8
Dawnray Archer is a lot better than it looks, and you are an exalted deck...

p3p9
This is a gift, but I'm not sure I agree that 3 panoramas = a good mana base in an aggressive deck.

p3p10
HATE THE DRUID....

Bant seems decent as a safe choice here, however clearly the people you were drafting with don't have a lot of experience with the format letting obelisks and tri-lands go so late. Regardless I feel you should have been in the 5 color special or at least 4 as soon as you took sarkhan over mycoloth. I understand monetary value as is but mycoloth is a very large bomb that fits colors easier and if he lives for even 1 turn its really game over. But from what I saw you got great aspects for the 5 color deck:

Pack 1 Pick 3: Jund Charm
Pack 1 Pick 4: Seaside Citadel
Pack 1 Pick 5: Kederekt Leviathan
Pack 1 Pick 6: Drumhunter
Pack 1 Pick 7: Obelisk/Esper Charm
Pack 1 Pick 9: Obelisk
Pack 1 Pick 10: Obelisk

Pack 2 Pick 1: Sarkhan/Mycoloth/Kiss all work here
Pack 2 Pick 2: Bant Charm correct choice but works in both your choice and mine
Pack 2 Pick 3: Tower Gargoyle
Pack 2 Pick 5: Executioner's Capsule
Pack 2 Pick 6: Obelisk

Then in pack 3 you get 2 war monks which would firmly establish an early game for the 5 color deck.
Pack 3 Pick 2: Topan Ascetic this guy is nuts/Memory Erosion also works
Pack 3 Pick 4: Obelisk/Angelsong
Pack 3 Pick 6: Grixis Charm

Couple all of this you had the chance for finishers in sarkhan, mycoloth, cavern thoctars, and ridge rannets. The best part of this strategy is that if you are drafting with worse players they will always be passing you cards and they will most likely be set on 2/3 colors where you can play the best card passed to you every time. It basically screws over both people on either side of you as well as allowing you to play the most powerful spells available. Also ultimatums such as cruel and violent along with bomb mythics like archangel, sharhuum, and sphinx sovereign get passed more often than you would think and you can easily benefit off of these. The same can be held true for more common bombs like predator dragon and broodmate dragon. All in all I am glad it paid out for you in pack 3 otherwise I feel your draft would have been very weak. But gj regardless.

Okay thanks for the feedback guys. On the 5cc control deck thats not a route i like to go in draft it hands to many free wins to opponents due to mana base issues. Its exactly the type of deck Im trying to take advantage off by drafting the way I did in either draft. Also most people seem to be off the opinion the obellisks are bad they are surely better if your 5cc control but in most archtypes they are not very good.

Now on to DV8r invaluable feedback this time.

p1p1 I was unsure of quetius spike after reading it, it felt quite slow and clunky though I can understand why alot of people would see it as the pick. Infact I agree it probably was the best pick, that said I played vs it r2 and it was exactly what I felt it would be slow and clunky.

p1p4 Totally agree, though yes I do like excommunicate.

p1p6 Most 4 drops in this format seem really weak to me is it clearly better than the pump spell.

p1p9 Ive read alot of good discussion on how good naturalise is on this format and most the better players seem to be of the view it is main deck material.

p1p11 I missed the tapping part of the spell, I remember people singing this cards praises on the other forum and I was like why its rubbish.

p2p9 This was down to never drating exalted before and not knowing when you do your deck does not need big creatures.

p3p2 I agree now after drafting exalted topan would be very good

p3p3 I felt the war monk was signifcantly better but i could easily be wrong.

I do not really care about flaming as long as I am benifiting from doing it which I clearly am. I may not be covering myself in glory by posting such early drafts but Im concerned with getting better not looking good.

Quietus spike is an insanely good card, especially p1p1 because you can draft keeping in mind that you have it. Spike is a bit slow, so if you are already considering tempo as a weakness you probably weight it lower, but p1p1 you can draft a tempo deck so you wont be too slowed by spike. If spike gets a chance to do what it wants to do, you win the game, simple as that. Putting it on an evasion creature is almost always a 3 turn clock. Putting it on vithian stinger or blood cultist is also very good.
